Olds cam question

i've been reading on the site. I thing my problem is in the distr. It will run but once i go to drive it, it doesnt seem to have any balls.

if the dist. is computer controlled i set the timing with the dist plugged in, most likely this is the problem correct. if so what do i do....

I think the advance is computer controlled instead of vacuum advance. I don't think you have to disconnect anything to adjust it. I don't know too much about it though.

How is that cam working otherwise?
