im working on my 350 olds and am putting a new power steering pump on but i can't seem to figure out how to get the pulley off. i believe the pulley set up is for a 307, if you have done this you know that there is a hex in the middle but i can't get it loose and am doubting that is even how th epulley comes off? does it just straight pull off? any help is appreciated.

Some unscrew, most get pulled/pressed. This is what one of the tools looks like. There are several types, all work well, just don't pay too much like I did.
You can rent the tool from autozone. Just be aware that there is a possible chance the pulley is seized on there and it might break when trying to pull it off.
