nice but to expensive for my blood. i would just use a stencil and customize some cheap chrome ones.

I always think its funny the guys who put a Chevy in an Olds and then try to hide the fact its a Chevy.

That's like an Olds guy putting valve covers that say Chevrolet on an Olds.

i've seen this before on an old pic of a drag car,of course it was sbc powered and it had "oldsmobile" scribed valve covers on it.weird and stupid

My cutlass has a 305 sbc factory. I put bowtie valve covers, breather, and aircleaner that says "305" on it.

I think it was the '57 Canadian Pontiac (thinke '57 Poncho w/ '57 Chevy motivation) that had an SBC w/ "Pontiac" valve covers.. just regular chevy covers with Pontiac stamped into them... Pretty cool if ya ask me..

There's another thing I've seen done, but hate... 303 Olds (early rocket) type valve covers made for SBC's for the wanna be old school hot rodders... look up Fauxsmobile on google, should find 'em quick..

I also have a 223 Ford 6 that I modified the valve cover on... I took and cut out the Ford lettering and in it's place welded in the "Chevy" (actually said Chevy) script from an iron duke 4cyl.. next thing on the list is to paint it up Chevy orange w/ black striping on the lettering.. Just to poke fun at all the guys running SBC's in their hot rods..

 I think that may be part of why I keep my chevy Olds powered, It's amusing to see the disgusted or confused looks of "chevy guys" when they see under the hood, haha.

lol, I know what you mean.. I had a '94 Chevy 1500 (2wd, standard cab, long box) w/ a 425 Olds/Th400 and a 9 inch... just a craptastic work truck with a worked over BBO.. had the same valve covers you have in your pic.. painted up gold/edelbrock intake, demon carb, home built fender well headers.. just a loud obnoxious fairly quick beater... Took it to a few local shows and got alot of odd looks.. first people just look funny when a trashed out white 2wd pick up comes rollin' in barely ideling from an overly lumpy cam, and drowning out most if not all thoughts of the on lookers with a way to loud exhaust note echoing out of the fenderwells... When you hop out and pop the hood people would look at it and completly miss the "Oldsmobile" lettering that you could read from a mile away (lettered in red and black)... Got a lot of oh it's just a small block?... But I loved the people who knew something was off from the get go.. got alot of Why?'s too...

Yep, the reason I Olds powered the 94 4x4.
