Needed an 1.5” or so additional clearance.
The flexplate shield is fitting with some room to spare. Need longer mounting bolts, and I’m sure this will make trans install AWFUL, but …… you gotta do what ya gotta do - needed to cert 9.99 and below.

Yes, and I looked into it. I could've purchased a Kevlar blanket and lined the floor with it, but it doesn't meet The No Hotrods Allowed (Donovan's acronym) rule requirements.Wouldn't it just be easier to reinforce the floor?
