You on e85? My buddy and the guys at Fueltech said that it usually works out to 1:1 for crank HP per lb/hr on E85 with boost. I just started my tuning but I did make one hit which made 9.5psi at 48% tps, to 5900 rpm and it wanted right around 830lb/h of fuel at E78, maybe a touch more to get the AFR a bit richer. On the dyno the motor made 842hp to the crank at 11psi at 6700rpm... so it seems pretty close. Id bet I am making closer to 780-800 at 9psi at 5900rpm, but I also am using fuel to drive the blower that never makes it to the crank. Dyno was 11psi non-intercooled and now its 9.5psi intercooled at about 85F.I made it to the no-prep race. The bad was the race organizer has zero organizational skills, so you can understand how I made two runs only. The good, 80 degrees and a full day of race cars.
I made two hits (that's it), but that was enough to make me smile and know what I have. 1st hit was on WG spring only and it made 12psi. I believe I've turned the world's worst hotside into something mediocre. I have a 5lb spring in the gate, so it's still not great, but it's good enough for me to dial it in FOREVER. Remember my old hotside system with a 4-5lb spring made 18 and that led to a somewhat out of control launch ramp. Previously I had a 44mm china gate and I've stepped up to 60mm china gate - both VS Racing stuff. On the 2nd hit I made 25 psi and holy sheetz I broke the tire free at the top of 1st and 2nd gear. And actually had to dump the 2nd run due to being somewhat sideways at about 100mph. But I'll get that tamed.
Regarding the 25 psi, with the old turbo and hotside I was putting 35lbs of CO2 on top of the WG to get to 27psi, so I assumed that 18lbs of CO2 would yield something in the range of 18-20 AND I WAS WRONG lol. A more efficient turbo (larger) and more efficient hotside appears to have made my CO2/dome pressure system more efficient as well - at least I believe.
When I got the car to run it's fastest with previous setup I was using about 710lbs of fuel/hr - that was at 24psi of boost. Yesterday when it hit 25 psi I was 970lbs of fuel/hr. Without getting into the math, I'm pretty sure that should equate into approximately another 200-250hp. I can only wager guesses at what it's making, but based on the assumption that my previous turbo was supposed to tap out at 900hp I'll guess that I'm at 1000+ crank hp. Without a time slip or trap speed though, I really have no good idea other than guesses.
Another extreme positive was that it appears that my towering inferno of intake temps is now under control. I turned the meth down to virtually nothing and they stayed below 170 which is more than manageable imo. Also, the giant trans cooler kept the transmission temp well below 170 as well - they used to be another 15-30 higher.
Now for something that didn't work out too well. The new converter missed the mark by a crap ton. I cannot get it to stall beyond 3150, which made for some insanely slow motion launches. I was letting go at 1-2 psi and the rpm's were waaaaay too low. I was expecting it stall to 4000 and it missed that mark by 30%. I've already spoken to the converter guy via messenger and am awaiting a call back. I'm hoping he can re-work this one as I don't want to drop the big dollar on a another.
All in all, it was great day afaic. The thing stuck together at 25 psi, nothing leaked or broke.

Yes, E85. Actually E80 according to my sensor and my testing equipment. Your calcs sound reasonable. I'm using the lbs/hr as more of comparison. I managed a 9 at 710lbs/hr. So at 980 I should be ............ bench racing in my head. I'm guessing close to 1000. Maybe more, maybe less. It's a conversation piece presently lol.You on e85? I am not sure on the blower. I have only made a couple pulls slowly getting into it and the pully that used to make 12-13psi at 6000 rpm only made 9.5psi on this set up. I am wondering that even though the BOV is fully closed, I wonder if the TB only being open 50% is basically becoming a slight boost restriction. So basically on the charge pipe side I am making 12psi, but only showing 9.5 in the manifold? Next time I get the car out I am going to make sure I get to WOT to see what happens. One thing going "against" me, is being intercooled now, all things being equal it should make less than 16-17psi it used to make non-intercooled just because the change in inlet temps. However, I am sure the 92mm TB flows way more than the Holley 750 with annular boosters, so I might see a bit more boost in the intake if the 750 carb was a restriction. As of now I am spinning the blower as fast as recommended, in fact slightly over max speed, so unless I have a boost leak with all my stupid piping/intercoolers, its making as much as it will make.Yes, E85. I'm more stressed about getting it to pass the chassis cert presently. I'm really hoping to not be one and done racing because of getting kicked out.
How much can your blower make before it turns into heat only? Can you run 15-18?

Yes. But the true test will be on a sticky track. It didn't hit hard enough on the no prep track to tell, but down the track it seemed to not twist up. I didn't have to test my driving ability until it broke free at the top of 2nd gear. Where I was having to drive it (steer) down the track previously. I always assumed that was the twist, but I could be wrong about that too. I didn't touch the shocks either. I left them at the street settings - 2 and 6..Have you gave the new anti-roll bar a good testing? Chassis seem to be working better now?
