You will be glad you did. And I'm betting all the linkage stuff will bolt right up!

WELL IT BETTER! 😡 If not Ken will owe me a new carb!! 😡 If it came off my car it had better go back ON MY CAR!!😡

Just kidding........:rofl::rofl::rofl:

right now health issues are delaying my build..............sadly.........I went in for hip replacement evaluation and ended up coming
home and now have shingles............one has nothing to do with the other except the hip pain wasn't enough.......now I have
the shingles to deal with. I had shingles when I was 16 in high school and thought wow glad I went through it at a young age.
Now at almost 70............this may be considered cruel and unusual punishment in a court of law.:itchy:

I struggled yesterday to get the Qjet unhook, unbolted and packed up to sennd to Ken. But I "got'r" done.........👍

Now I have to find the strength and energy to remove the shifter cable and return it before Wednesday since it was an incorrect
part from EBay. 🙄

Lord, give me the strength......👍......AMEN................

Ken does nice work, good call. He can improve the super lean factory tune a bit as well. Mine 78 403 carb ran horrible on my 9.6 to 1 350 with a 204/214 cam. Night and day with the retune. Hopefully your shingles were treated in time otherwise lingering effects can occur.

What kind of lead time are you looking at with everyday performance? Days? Weeks?

No projection given............I called to verify it was received and requested a tune for 5000 ft elevation.
That's the latest.

Well I must admit, I was a bit cautious about sending my QJet to Ken but I will say this.....................HALLELUAH..👍👍😊....the carb came back all nice and clean,😎
I bolted it on and turned the key to fill the fuel bowls and BAM! Fired right up........fast idle was good, kicked down to normal idle....check the exhaust..no hint of being rich.

SO put me in the SEND IT TO KEN group........:banana::banana:
Carb came back with new gaskets for bottom and top......very nice touch. 👍
I didn't get to street drive the car yet, it's still on jackstands awaiting a few more leak checks.
Hope to get it out tomorrow and test drive and do a shake down of ALL the repairs and replaced parts.

Thank you Ken and those who truly pushed to send the QJet to him...............

and the good news my case of SHingles is slowly, sloooooooooooooowly going away. It's been a painful 2 weeks......but the H/O firing right up
yesterday made me forget the pain........at lest for a bit.😉

Pictures of how cool it looks on your engine or it didn't happen! 🙂

Carb came with new fuel filter as well..........👍
It was nice being able to hook everything back up to whatever needed connected and not have to cobble together
connections.👍
Shame I had to put that Qjet art work on top of an undetailed intake but my project has to stay within budget and I have
a habit, albeit good or bad, of saying....."well since the intake is off may as well"......🤔........(you finish the sentence) and before I know it
I'm broke with an undriveable project in my garage taking up space,🙁
Forgive me Qjet owners for desecrating this lovely art work but there will be plenty of money to do the entire engine and car

.......when I'm dead. 😊 I've given the wife directions as to WHO GOLDY HURST IS........in my will. 🤣
