Ontario people-where do you have your home, auto insurance?

State Farm here for home and auto. Last fall, my bank quietly got bought out and changed routing numbers. All my bills are on autopsy and somehow I managed to ignore State Farm's late notices, I just assumed they were the usual Pat on the back for paying my bill on time. When I realized my coverage had lapsed, I obviously had it reinstated. When they turned it back on with the same coverages my premiums dropped! I think they all play games, but State Farm has been really good to me when it comes time to make a claim and I've heard of my neighbor's getting jerked around by the lesser companies so I think I'll stick with what I have. Funny thing is that they undercut Progressive, Allstate, AAA, and every other carrier that I contacted back in 2009.

When I looked into it, I found that info about credit checks.

Ended up switching brokers. When my Co-Op agent got the cancellation, he finally contacted me. Wouldn't give me the time of day before, passed me off to one of his girls.

Oh now you care about your commission?

I have State Farm. Had it for years. They are ok but hit you way to hard on depreciation. I am a property claims supervisor and all policies are not the same. Florida rates are skyrocketing due to all the crap down south and the fee statute. My buddy lives in Florida and we have like houses. His insurance is double mine. I have progressive for the boat..
State Farm valued policy for the El C
