With either choice you are committed to the effort of transferring the wire harness and ECM.

that was the original plan. I'm wanting to do something like flemming did with lipstick'd pig, older car with character and updated engine/fuel system... alot more than just the trans and brakes are being transferred to the wagon. should look like a fish after a herd of cats has had at it!

I spent the last 4.5 years living on the North Side of Pittsburgh driving a stick & I didn't have any issues with traffic or the hills. I'd say go with the millennial anti theft device.
