Does anyone have any opinions on the G8? Anyone know about any reliability issues with them, or about the rwd platforms from Australia in general? I really love the looks of this car and am considering buying one in a year or two. I love the fact that it is rwd and has a 6 speed as an option. I am just hoping that this will not be as problematic as many GM cars that have been coming out.

I got a '07 Grand Prix GT and it runs just fine. The Pontiac division is all about performance and they build quality cars and that's why they are in the 20k's and not 15k and below.

g8

did you get it with hand crank windows? 😀 ...jesse

lol, hand crank windows that's funny. Well, first of all a Grand Prix isn't even comparable to the G8. Yes it's a Pontiac. But remember not all Pontiacs, just because there Pontiacs are as good as the next one. Remember the Quad 4 Grand Am's? Okay without over doin it and carrying on, point proven. The G8 in my opinion is awesome, power, lots n lots of power. I've driven them and have a buddy who's a local Pontiac mechanic and so far no common problems, but remember I live in a smaller town where they don't sell as many, I'll do some checkin for ya....... these might help ya a little...
