Hey guys, been awhile since I posted on here. I finally got my intake straightend out so I could fit an air cleaner I liked on there, I had it milled down a 1/4 inch to get some clearance. I picked up this decal at Carlisle and I'm kinda on the fence with it. Prolly be a real sumbitch to get it off once it's on there. Doin pretty good with the car so far at the shows, got 3 trophies outta 5 shows.
Good choice of a decal, I'm going with one just like it but it will say 350.How much taller does the 455 sit than the small blocks? Your engine bay looks very good, clean, nice touch of chrome and aluminum, good color choices.Very nice
Just my opinion, but I think that the sticker with the chrome doesnt show as well as maybe a black lid with the sticker, more like the stock. Ive seen customized black air cleaners with the stickers that really show nicely. Still, its a really nice engine/bay/car and congrats on the wins!
Thanks for the input and the compliments guys. Gonna put it on tomorrow. I'm havin such a blast with this car, it drives down the road better than it did back in 82. Ya throw that big block and the t-tops in the mix and ya really got a fun toy.
i like it and think you should keep it but what if you got a cotton air cleaner element in grey? i think that would look good. ive never liked the paper ones
