check the frame rails for rust as well, I hate to say it but you can find rollers in allot better condition around here for that price...

Unless I could get it for $500 - $600 I would pass. Too many red flags
- heater bypassed
- non SS steering wheel
- shoddy bodywork / paint
- missing carpet
- washer fluid cap is missing meaning the squirters don't work
- no shroud
- AC components missing

Its great to get into the game for cheap but it costs you sooooo much more in the long run to fix whats been butchered. Give me a complete orig car with faded paint,a blown motor, with decent interior any day !

Waaaay too sketchy IMO. Would give it a wide berth and keep your eyes open for something better.

The car has been monkeyed with too much. On top of what Axisg said, the SS wheels are gone, spoiler missing, shitty interior, bondo, trunk lock gone, etc. That's just from eyeballing the ad! My major b*tch with these is when the trans gets replaced with a TH350 or if the lock-up on a 200-4R is non-existent when the original 3.73 rear end is still there.....which is probably the case with this one. It would not be a fun driver on the expressway.

And the survey says !! Have to agree with the others, one look at the engine compartment is enough for me. Along with what Axisg pointed out plug wires all over, no overflow cap or coolant, doesn't even look like the carb is hooked up. It does have a new radiator hose though - fan probably got the other one.

Looks like it may have been a combination of an SS and non SS car + mystery car for other missing parts. I agree that at that price I would pass.

the car is worth $300 maybe $400, the engine another $250 but it's a 71 so it has no emissions on it which could be a problem depending on what the rules are where you live.

Thank you guys for letting me know, I'm still somewhat of a novice with these cars, I'll forget about this one and wait until something worth my money comes up then since I'm not in a rush to buy one
