im going to go with a vote for the cragars. only because we almost have the exact car and setup and thats what im going with. i know they wont look good at first but once i take off all the trim and emblems and take the vinyl roof off i think it will go good with the car. heres some pics of my car and another for thought. Im going to go with the 17" and no white letters.

I also dig the rallyes. AeroSS_87 had those black wheels on his Malibu, and the car looked tough as hell, but then again the paint was really rough and anything was an improvement over the 14" stockers. This Cutlass deserves a little more class.

Pretty sure he got them at the tire shop where he got the wheels. I don't think they were actually Cragars, I think they were Pacers or some other knock off brand.

Sweet Cutlass....in my opinion if I was to change anything it would be the stance...loose the door edge moldings drop it a few inches and leave the rallies...oh yeh and change the Peterbilt on the street to a 359 or a 379...lol
too bad someone doesn't make a larger diameter rims in this style

The factory wheels look much better on this car. As stated because of all the chrome & gloss paint. People as a whole seem to like the look even better if its cleaned up a bit by cleanly removing the door ding guard that runs down the middle of the door and onto the front and rear quarter panels and the emblems that are on the doors and sail pannels behind the little opera windows. Beyond that why fix what is not broken. If I switched wheels it would be to get rid of the skinny little 14x6s. You are also lucky in that it does not have the landau top.

This is a whole different animal. The question as I understood it was to replace the rallys with the Cragars, re-using the BFG's. Now.....the car as it sits is way to clean and classy for cheap 14" wheels.

As previously stated, if you were going to de-chrome it and lower it, then I might be more inclined to like the black 17's, but 14's are for 4x8 trailers! LOL! Just my

Well I wanna keep the ralley's but I wanna go to 15's since there isn't much of a tire selection for 14's. I just don't have $800 to spend on the 15" repo olds rims alone. I want to run 255 in rear and 205 up front and can't do that in a 14.

Well, you can't go bad with a set of Weld's as they look good on almost any musclecar. I would wait until you have the money to do it right rather than compromise on something that isn't what you really want in the first place.
