Original Owner Of My Car

I bought my current Malibu of the original owner. He still calls or emails me once and a while to make sure she is still OK.

So I say go for it!!!!!

But just be aware that he may tell you that the car was the biggest piece of junk he ever owned or something like he hates that car cause it was his ex-wifes and she sold it on him!!

I just recently got a job changing electrical meters in my town. A while later I picked up my 85 Regal and went through the glove box. I found a ton of information including a battery warrenty card from when it was replaced in 1993. Believe it or not I had to change the meter at his house the next day. I chatted with him about the car and it's history, then a while later I had it in his neighbour hood so I stopped by so he could see it. Gave me quite a bit of useful info too.

It was original a limey green colour and the body was completly shot, he sold it to a guy to make a stock car out of, but he moved up a class. He owned a body shop so he did the body work to it and painted it, then sold it to his cousin who I bought it off of. The original owner owned the car from 1985 to 2003. He originally bought it for his wife since they both had work vechicles, but she wanted her own. She passed 16 years ago tho.

I would say if the person owned the car before, obviously they had to like it and would enjoy seeing it again after however many years.

I had the second owner of my car stop by and talk to me while i was working on mine, cool guy, and was very interested in what I was doing with it.
