I'll see what I can do on the diagram I'm using my mobile at the moment. I've got all the factory manuals from a guy who is a big g-body guy. This issue has us both stumped haha.

So I was told today just unplug it. They never worked most of the time. I'm going to do my best at fixing this thing. Won't no lock up burn up the trans?

I had these same issues with my tbi truck i dumped so much money is sensors and ecms and throwing 11 codes that i finally gave up and converted it to a carb and tossed the fuel injection. If you figure this out let me know lol

No I wouldn't suggest doing this if its all original as you say.

Its a little like cutting off the head to fix a headache. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out, step by step check your ECM codes and we need to find a diagram as the lock up circuit is an easy one to fix. Unplugging it will only band-aid one of the problems. If you are sure your ground is fading...and your grounds are all good as checked, forced stall by jumping the adl pin, and strong 12 volt everywhere, I would try to find another ecm at least to try. 25 years old OBD1 GM ecms have been known to be flaky. Sometimes by pushing in the prom solder tracks crack.

Of course its easy for me to say - this side of a computer screen, but its your car.

I wasnt telling him thats what he needed to do i just told him that because thats what i did because i couldnt figure it out and i was hopin he would tell me if he did

I haven't had a chance to pull the 4th gear psi switch. I'm going to try that. I did try and drive it unplugged. It drove great minus the lockup. No CEL came on while driving around. Even after I reset the ecu. I'm thinking now its the psi switch being grounded all the time. I'll change it and report back.

I was just reading this thread over and im wondering ive got 2 replys on this thread that have nothing to do with the subject. And i remember making those replys on a seperate thread did stuff get glitched up and moved around??
