So I bring my car home from it previous owner on Saturday. As a proud new ElCo owner I have in the driveway letting it run, walking in circles, making plans etc. Thencar ran for about an hour no issues.

I saw that the motor had grease etc so Sunday I clean the motor, illegally drove it through the neighborhood let it run while vacuuming put gas in it.

Last night I come home start the car and it overheats. The coolant in the overflow was boiling. There was no clickety clack noises, I wanted to check the heater so I had the heater on high. Never moved the car.

At the previous owners location I let the car run for about a half hour no issues.

Thoughts....

Thanks for your insight

Pop the lower rad hose off, there might be sh*t clogged in the opening. Is your upper rad hose getting warm once you get the engine up to temp? Thermostat might have stuck on you. Other than that, there's a big chance the rad is plugged.
