I recently bought headers for my 85 442. After removing the stock manifolds I notice the new headers do not have a hole for the Oxygen sensor. Should I have one cut into it or say to hell with it. I don't have to get my car smog checked and will not run catalytic converters. It will be a true dual setup.

Well if you're running on the computer still then yes, you obviously need the O2 sensor. If you're not running on the computer than of course you have no need for an O2 sensor.

If you decide to use the O2 sensor, might consider using a heated version. Sometimes with headers the O2 sensor is too far away from the heads to get hot enough to work properly.
