I've also used it with no issues over DBU (RIP), DBC and lacquer. It's good for touch up and blending a jamb with the outer panel. Also good for small stuff like mirrors, backup sensors, door handle, etc.

I always just mix a couple ounces of regular clear and grab my minijet. I prefer a catalyzed product. I’m not a fan of 1k primers either. They’re all laquer based and can burn you at times. I prefer not to take the chance.
Same here it is nice to have access to base and clear through my work and have a lot of leftovers from things I have painted at home...it is pretty easy for people with the access and experience and I feel for guys that don't. I am the type of guy that just tells my friends bring your stuff over and I will show you how to prep it and I will supply the paint and clear and spray it if it isn't something to big. Did this in my driveway a couple Summers ago.
