hey chrome looks classy if its done right and there is the right amount of it

regarding the original post, like what other members said scuff the crud outta it. Use a etching primer on the metal in several different coats to ensure adhesion. then paint as normal. powder coating might cost alot more than just doing this yourself, but the powder coat should hold up much better. Again surface prep is the key
