Ordered one new item: TCI trans adapter (Speedway Motors)

Still need:
a -92 Camaro A/C compressor
F-body headers or manifolds
A good dual metering block Holley 670-750
(A set of trim to delete my vinyl top)
A bunch of other crap that I have to buy new

Build will start in a few weeks!

Did you see the pm that I sent you? That car was in Elk River. I think it was a non-vinyl top car but I can't remember for sure.

Yeah I emailed that guy and he never even responded. What part are you looking for, a motor mount or something?
I might have something for ya soon.
I posted a new "wanted" ad for a Prix. I figure I can get a crappy solid roof car and use it as a winter beater. Steal the parts next spring 😀

I didn't really need anything off of it. It looked like a pretty solid car, just wasn't running. If you did end up buying it though and parted it, I would be interested in the motor mount plates, the ones that bolt to the block.

OK I just ordered motor mounts for my ls1 swap, so if I don't use the ones that are in my car I'll get back to you. Maybe I could just drop em in the mail or something.
I'm not sure what stock parts Trans dapt makes you use with their "kit", if any

Doesn't your car have a 305 Chevy in it? I wanted to pick up an extra set of 301 Pontiac mounts to have as a spare. I don't think yours would do me any good. I was referring to the ones in that other G/P that I mentioned to you. Anyway, good luch with your swap!

Thanks,
Troy

I'm just going by what the guy you bought it from had posted on cl. I never actually saw the car in person so I don't really know what it is. One easy way to tell is by which side the battery and alternator are on. Driver's side = Pontiac, passenger's side = Chevy.

Oh that's cool, I never knew that.
Anyways it's got a BOP bellhousing too, and I know what 305 heads look like and these are definitely nothing I've ever seen before. Yeah, it's a 301. I'll let you know if I have some motor mount plates left over.

Getting REAL tired of limping around in this 165 hp car with a half-shot transmission. My custom grind cam is on it's way, should be able to start the build within a few weeks (I have one more snowmobile to fix first)
