Picked up an 86 442, sad....it got smacked pretty hard

No one restore these Gbodies a car to make a profit... it's just not feasible.
Restore them for passion and preservation.
You don't have to do a ground up, just get it back on the road is all to give someone else the chance to restore it or enjoy.

yea, its unfortunate, the frame is bent pretty bad at the control arm area about 1" or more. This car will be better off helping others make a good one. I plan on saving the cowl, the trunk and the drive train and bringing it back after done with my 85 🙂
 
Well today i was able to tear the complete car down to find there was no saving this one, frame bent bad, drivers side had all kinds of rust and all sort of other problems with having to make it possible to put in back on the road. So I have decided to save the trans, engine and cowl and trunk to make another 442 later on after I finish the 85
