Hi I posted in the new user forum the other day and now wanted to share some pics of my 87 Cutlass. Always something to do but I do my best to keep up with it.

What a gem! The reflection of the dirty ashpalt makes it look like the chrome side panels are tarnished, but they're not. Very clean and sharp. How about the engine and the interior, bet they're sweeeeet. Welcome to the forum to bro!!

Wow, do you have a time machine? It looks like you went back in time, bought it off the lot, then brought it back here lol. Very nice.

Great looking car, I always liked those composite light Cutlass`

Thanks for the compliments, it is truly appreciated. The back round of the car is my father purchased it new in Aug 86 from Reilly Oldsmobile in Irvington NJ(long gone). He pretty much drove it to work and back about 5 miles each way and to Church and food shopping on Sundays and every now and then he would load us up and drive to Conn to see relatives or take his boys fishing.

Unfortunately he passed away about 7 years ago and the car sat in the garage for close to a year with about 78K miles on it, Eventually the conversation came up about what to do with the car, my brothers wanted to sell it, I told them no way, I will keep it and take of it.

Now on to the the car itself,It has a 3.8 3 speed auto with air and cruise, neither work at the moment. It has never been in an accident so it has all the original body panels, glass and lens'. My pops had it painted about 12 years ago because the paint died, it lost it's shine and had a white milky look to it. I then found and installed the body side molding. He also had the trans rebuilt at 40K, and it has been through 3 exhaust systems(from cat back).

Since I have had it, it now has 97K and it has new springs and shocks all the way around, new radiator, new rear brakes-brake hardware with wheel cylinders and drums, hub caps in nicer shape then the originals, hood insulation and dash cover(original cracked bad), Saturday I am going to the interior shop to make an appointment to have the 1/2 top the headliner and the sun visors redone.

The engine bay and interior can use some work but I will get around to that.
