Thank you for the very detailed photos. I think we’re all good. Yes I’ve got the little metal nozzles and will probably stick with it. Some photos of what’s going on/the car

Thanks!

That is a really clean car and it looks original, did you buy it in that condition?

Welcome aboard! Looks like a nice clean body Other than putting it back together, what are your plans for it, and what are you using for a drivetrain?

Haha, it’s good from afar but far from good, thanks though.

I’ll share more history when I have a build page going or in a minute.

I thought I had this sorted but I put in the wiper motor and nozzles yesterday and the area marked has nothing behind it to bolt up. In the photos from others there’s a bracket or something there or at least a bolt inserted. Yes I get the wiper stops location but they’re in a different spot without the circular relief. I know I’m going ocd on this but is it possible this is from a different vehicle?

if you look at the picture that Mikester posted that slotted hole is for a bolt.....

Each nozzle should have a bracket soldered to it for fastening...are yours complete?

Yes washer nozzles are good...

In reply to the previous post, I see there’s a bolt there, problem is there’s nothing behind it to bolt to. It’s just wide open space. His vehicle is a later model though. Also the other holes for the bolts aren’t a slot they’re a single round hole. Are you suggesting that it’s a spot to hold that little bracket for the washer hose?

If theres nothing there to screw into do you have the two brackets that are held onto the firewall with nuts ? Right where you drew the circle theres a bracket under that wide trim. Theres another one to the left of that. Theyre held on with speed nuts and the trim attaches to them.
Maybe thats the problem ? Or if theyre there you might have to loosen them, fit the SS trim and tighten the nuts back up.

Now we’re getting somewhere...
