New engine and trans, been sitting for 2 years car is slow as ****, dont know why? my carb is back firing like a fat lady fart on her sleep,,??
Pls help why my car is acting like *ss,

No i fill it up with new fuel premium gas

Take that piece of sh*t weber ( I mean edelbrock) carb off of there and get a holley man!!!!!!! Problem solved...You might also want to check out the fuel filter, plugs, cap and rotor and timing while your at it...But man get rid of that eddy...JMO 8)

Loosen your distributor and turn it counter clockwise. You want to move the vacume advance towards the carb. Did you have the distributor out? May be a tooth off. Try advancing it first, move it about an inch for starters. You'll see the idle pick right up.

Idele is good but the car is slow so i ll do what u told me, i ll have pate aka (beermonkey) check out my car

The edelbrock carb probably needs rebuilt as you said it has been sitting. Easy to rebuild or you could always get a holly. I have both and run the edelbrock currently with great results. Change fuel filter and check to see if the vacuum advance and mechanical advance is still working.
