Plenty of room in the new non-G project section!

I've been a member for a couple years and have always thought this is a great forum. There is a wide variety of cars and owners along with a vast knowledge base. This isn't the only forum I visit and I've noticed that some of the other forums have a section for other projects that members are working on. Things like hotrods, crawlers, motorcycles, boats, even electric cars, vintage bicycles and RC cars.
Would anyone else like to see a section like this here? If so, chime in. Maybe with enough interest the mods might consider it. Thanks for your time.

Normally I'd say just toss it over in General or OT, but if there's enough interest I would do this.

There you have it guys. The possibility is there. I don't just want yes votes either. If you think it's a bad idea I'd like to hear that too.

Thanks alot GP. I guess the polite thing to do would have been to ask a mod before even posing the question but I couldn't think of any other way to see if anyone would even want it. We shall see. It may just die a quick death right here. At least we'll know.

I have to say...this is a great addition to the forum. I think I speak for most of us when I say that, as much as we love our G's, there are always other things that we have going on that keep us busy. I think a lot of us are of the same threads....we like to repair, restore, create, and design to keep ourselves off the couch and out in the garage...lol.
