Hey Steve remember those Eibach rear springs you sent me 3 years ago ?
Well I put them on today,I don't know why I put it off so long,its a fairly easy swap.
They lowered the rear by app 1 1/2 inch I meant to measure first but I forgot.
Anyhow,heres a before & after picture;
There was a reason I didn't put them on before and that was because my exhaust hung too low and scraped on bad roads.
I fixed that this year.I went for a drive over some of the worst roads I could find yesterday after putting the new springs in.
It did scrape a bit on the very worse spots so the exhaust will need to be "tweaked".
Other than that all was good.I ran it pretty hard and there was no new drivetrain vibration and I launched it a couple of times and ran it hard through 1st,2nd & 3rd and there was no noticeable difference.
Now it will soon be time to put it away for the winter and get my *ss back to work in the Western Canada Oil Patch;

You shouldn't have much of a problem getting your exhaust a little higher so it doesn't hit. My GP is a little lower than it was with the Eibach springs and it doesn't hit even with the car loaded with my camping gear and beer.
I think I forgot to tell you I only warrantied the springs for one year and that is long past.....😎
Oh sh*t,first I forgot to pay for them and now the warranty is void
Just kidding Steve !!
The roads here in Nova Scotia are pretty bad in places as in frost heaved and rutted and not repaired.
But the exhaust will get fixed,just not sure when...
