i have a short in my elcamino, seems the middle fuse second row from bottom is the issue, when i pull the fuse, i loose power to the radio and cigarette lighter, what else is on this circuit,, thanks woody ,,,
fwiw, i have a test light in series on the negative side with battery unhooked, the other end is bolted to the side of the block, with the fuse in the light is on, fuse out light off, i have removed the cigar lighter and un hooked radio from the rear of radio, no difference,,, any ideas ???,,,, thanks

The radio and lighter isn't on the same circuit. The lighter is hot at all times. Here's a picture of the fuse box..click on it and it will enlarge so you should be able to read what's on each fuse

cigar lighter looses power when that fuse is removed. what else is on that circuit i cant read the picture in the link,, thanks

TC, can you check to see if the lighter is also included with the K fuse cause that fuse also includes radio, but I think that might only being in reference to the lites for those components.

by the chart I posted K: Outside Lights; Underhood Light; Sound System; Trailer (something) Lights; Clock; On Reminder; Glove Compartment Lights; Lighter

thanks but that really does not help.... can u tell me what color the wire is??? i cant read that diagram

I re-read your first post. It sounds like you're doing a draw test. You have to pull one fuse at a time until the test light goes out and that is the circuit that is drawing power. If you have a short that circuit would be blowing fuses but that doesn't sound like that's the case
