thats waht im doing,,,thats how i found it was the radio circuit with dome chimes clock,,,, tried everthing un plugged all still the test light is on any help plz???
 
if you tested with all the fuses out and there is still a draw then I would be looking at the starter/solenoid, alternator and the headlights since they don't run thru the fuse box. Easiest thing first is to remove the battery wire from the alternator

You have to use a Amp meter to do a draw test. You look for the amperage to drop when you pull the fuses.
A test light will always stay on.
 
Your right a test light may always be on but you can tell by the strength of the light if you find a circuit with a draw. I have used a test light on a few cars with a good result
