I didn't get a lot of pics, i was just taking pics of the g body's...I realized later there was a lot i missed... I saw a ZMAX official after the event was over and he told me they ran out of room and started parking on the other side of the track, so as i find those pics i will post them... He also told me they registered 3000 cars...

This was before noon i think... They ended up packing the whole lot...

It was out of control... The track official i talked to said there was cars still pulling in at 4pm...All i know is a couple buddies called me for other directions into the track... It was taking 1-1/2 hours to get there from the interstate which is a (i'm guessing) 3/4 mile...

All in all, I hope you had a fun time.
I remember when the Power Tour came thru my town 8 yrs ago. I couldn't believe the amount of cool cars of all types, shapes, and sizes...in various conditions. I wasn't a participant, only a spectator, but it was a fun day.

Did you do the entire tour? I know some guys pick up a leg or more of the tour. It's cool how many vendors there are as well.
A lot of catalogs and freebees.

Thanks for all of the cool pics. I'm hoping to catch up to the crowd in Bettendorf on Thursday and snap some cool shots of my own. Gonna have to be a spectator again this year. H/O is still not quite ready but very, very close. I can't wait for Thursday!!! 😀

Thanks I had fun and got really Sun burned, but i'll get over it...This is my 4th one, I went to Kissimmee is that the one you were at? All the others I was a spectator too...

I just went to charlotte, my car has 411s right now and I'm not trying to make the tour with that gear...I will do one after I change the gears and get a overdrive trans...

Love the Richard Petty Grand Prix! Very well done with attention to detail. Note the flared fenders/quarters, windshield reinforcements, rear spoiler, exhaust, and wheel/tire package. Anybody spot The King wandering around? 8)
