POWER TOUR

Hello to all my fellow G-Body enthusiats. I have a question for you all. Has anyone done the power tour? if you are not familiar with it, you basically start off up north in the Wisconsin area ( I think) and drive to other cities. 7 cities in 7 days. The reason I ask is that because earlier in the month i had a chance to see all the cars drive by when I was going home from work one day. I just couldnt help and follow the G-BODIES that were driving around. Several cutlasses, regals, grand nationals, monte carlos. There was at least 15 of them. They had pulled into a hotel parking lot for the night and just had to stop by and see them. I hope this doesnt offend no one I was just asking all of you if you ever expeirenced this or saw this before. I an even thinking about doing it next year with my wife. It seems like a great time. Plus I think at the last city the have a big car show to finish it off. Any thought on this?

one of these days I hope to have one of mine ready to complete at least one leg of the tour. look in the events threads, a couple of the members here posted some pics from their tours.

the tour always starts from the city that the last tour ended at, and is never the same route twice.

This would be nice to do. Hopefully I can have my car done all the way I want it done. My car sat basically for over 10 years while I was overseas then moving around, so needless to say i have to rebuild my engine because all the seals are leaking now. Before I put it away I had replaced the engine and rebuilt the transmission. So basically the engine is still brand new just leaking now. I still have the stock 307 in it but would like to get a olds 350. I tinker around with it when I can but military life and family keep me from doing to much at one time. Especially when I have a pregnant wife with baby # 10 on the way. Fund are hard to come by so i try to do wrenching side jobs when I can if I can... So its pretty tight as you can see...
