Basically I am looking for something like this but ones that will fit the o-ring style fitting of the ac hose end.

Nitrogen is a larger molecule than air* So if you fill it with Nitrogen you may miss the leak.

As far as moisture goes from the air. The system should always be vacuumed before/during charging the freon.

So it's not an issue
I know the molecules are larger than air but think of your statement...IT"S A MOLECULE! Impossible for anyone of us to see, measure the difference. If the system is sealed with Nitrogen, it will be sealed with refrigerant.
As well...
Receiver/driers contain a material called desiccant. The desiccant is used to absorb moisture (water) that may have gotten inside the A/C system during manufacture, assembly or service. Moisture can get into the A/C components from humidity in the air. This is the “drier” function of the receiver/drier.
Damage can occur if there’s excessive moisture inside an A/C system. It can cause corrosion, as well as possibly degrade the performance of the compressor’s lubricating oil.
The receiver/drier should be replaced any time the system is opened for service, and most compressor warranties require it. The desiccant is only capable of absorbing a certain amount of moisture, and when the inside of the system and/or the receiver/drier are exposed to the atmosphere, the desiccant can become very quickly saturated from humidity in the air. If this occurs, the desiccant is no longer effective, and will not provide future protection. Additionally, the filter inside the receiver/drier could be restricted by debris that may have been inside the system. This could diminish refrigerant and oil flow.

Does the place you purchased the Good Year hose locally make the lines to??
Can they test them??
I didn't ask and honestly I do not want to count on any outside source to do anything for me which is why I wanted to make my own hoses in the first place.

If you can't find adapters, couldn't you make a short hose with the two ends on it?

I appreciate the suggestions and was actually hoping there was a kit out there that I overlooked but maybe not, I think I will bring a hose to a place locally I used to get my AN hose and Earls fittings from and since they are a Parker dealer I will see what they might have that I can modify to work.
