I had to go out of town for work for two days and came back to this.

My friend finished sanding, and is almost done buffing the paint out. Made me realize I really have no clue when it comes to buffing paint LOL. To say this looks better than the paint and finish on the original doors is an understatement. He asked that I wash it to get the buffing compound off and see where else he needs to touch up.

Lucky man! I’d love to go away for 2 days and come back to progress magically done!

Haha, well we are friends, but he's also getting paid. Although he's giving me a terrific deal on it so I'm definitely lucky

Little progress today. Got the door lock cylinders, handles, and belt mouldings installed.

Thank you! I can't take a bit of credit. That was all my buddies work. This is the best the car has looked since I've owned it. Which is 30 years this year.
