Looks good and clean. How's it running? You should get yourself a fuel pressure guage and a hotwire kit for the fuel pump. The hotwire kit will make sure your fuel pump is getting enough voltage to support some boost, runs off the back of the alternator. Comes with its own relay and heavier wire. pretty sure the newer kits are plug and play. Just took another look at the engine pic, you should also pick up an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
What chip is in the ECM?

Thanks, I actually havent drove it :shock: Took a chance and had a family member of mine check everything over and pick it up. The previous owner says its a Bullydog chip but he's not to sure on specifics of it. The engine will get a refreshing with a few upgrades for reliability for now. I definitely will have a fuel pressure guage along with a few others. the fuel system will be upgraded also. Ive been reading up on these engines and finding out some of their shortcomings that i will need to address the putting a fresh set of valvesprings in. Its comes with a Scanmaster 2.1 so thats a good thing, and he has a fwe extra goodies also that he sent with the car.

I definitely will be making sure i do this swap "CLEAN" and "CORRECTLY" i want a strong and smooth running car with decent power (Later "decent" will get better :wink: )

And i did read up on those fuelpump upgrade kits. He did however give me a double fuelpump kit he had'nt got around to installing. Also a Fuel Pump Voltage booster from MSD.

The chip is probably an older ATR Pitbull chip, make sure it is burned for your injectors. If not you should look into a Turbo Tweak chip, Eric the guy that owns TT is probably the best in the business for chips for the turbo Regals. Maybe even throw in a set of 60 lb injectors for future upgrades. The 60's work well on a stock build too.
The double pumper set up that came with the car might be a little overkill untill you get into some serious mods, ie. running 9's.
Will a Regal gas tank bolt onto a Malibu? Make sure you get the proper tank with the baffle in it to keep fuel at the pump under hard acceleration. I will look for the name of the company that I got my new tank from, Specta Premium, I think. I got the tank through a local Carquest dealer. 307C was the part number, I think. Will look into it.

I've looked into the TurboTweak site and seems pretty cool. But i can't make a decision on things like that until i do a in depth inspection of what i have and what i need. I need to determine wats is and isn't stock, were the mods done correctly and decide if i want to make this a smog legal car or not. And what it would take to make it smog legal since all my gbodys i have owned were passed illegally . For now until i get home (finishing tour in Iraq) i will get the things i am for sure going to need.

Since i was originally going with a SBC for this car i now have a bunch of parts that i cant use with the new V^ Powerplant. Many of you may have seen my Parts thread a While Back, if you see anything in there you are interested in let me know, i will be home in a few weeks so i will not be able to take any payments on items till then, that way there won't be a long wait for you Item. THat would definitely be much appreciated. I definitely want this one smog legal once i get it up and running and freshened up. Hopefully it won't the to hard to get accomplished :?

Just made it to pick up the wagon, it runs pretty good. it is missing but thats fine since it will be getting refreshed so that will all get taken car of. but it pulls very nicely for a stocker
