I don't know the difference in weight but that isn't really my concern about running them in an engine. My concern is that the adjustment will change, and more so that they won't be as sturdy and buckle. And do they have an oil passage through the threaded adjustable part? It just don't sound right to me... But i don't know that's why I'm asking
