While it's true that Pypes only makes a 3" side-exit system in a Cat-Back, and not a Crossmember-back X-Pipe configuration, we have to ask ourselves if a 3" system is really necessary on a street driven vehicle with less than 550-600 HP. F.A.S.T. class racers are running low 10's- high 9's through 2.5" X-Pipe systems, and most of those guys are way over 800HP. There are few manufactures left making true High-Performance systems for the factory catted G-Body vehicles. California based MagnaFlow and Flowmaster have dropped out because of the hassles from CA. Summit, Jegs, and T/A all make systems for the G-Body, but I believe Pypes is the only complete system with an X-Pipe or a Cat-Back. Pypes has put in a lot of time into R&D and they make a quality system.
