Without me searching for the next decade through old blogs, I need to know from someone who may have encountered or would know if -45* offset wheels will work without rubbing or modification issues on a g body vehicle. The wheels are 9.5 inches wide x15"

Thanks in advance for any and all help and info!

I have 15 x 9.50 rims with 295/55 MT's on the back of my Monte with a frame notch, I believe my backspace is 5.50 with a -45mm you are looking at 6.52" of backspace so I am going with no they will not fit.

I really appreciate this info. I'm sure I could run a smaller tire but then Ill have issues with trying to fill that 9.5" gap

You didn't mention a car but my Regal has 17 x 8.5 all around and they fit well without a notch but 17" tires have less section width than a 15"

For sure, and anymore, you almost have to go to Coker tire to get 15" tires and pay twice as much as you would for a 17" or 18"

Greetings!

Ill list below the specs on the original tire size and a couple of sizes bigger so you can compare and decide what would work better for you. unfortunately when you go higher you also go a little wider, 15" is a hard one, not many choices like you would have with a 16" and up.

Original size P215-65R15 Diameter 25.98" Width 8.4"
P215-70R15 " 26.69" " 8.7"
P225-70R15 " 27.36 " 9.1"

Good luck!
