I might add to watch out for interior panels that have gone "chalky." You know what I mean if you've seen it. That stuff will simply disintegrate to the touch and there's no repairing it. Down here its near impossible to find pieces that haven't turned this way due to the intense summer sun. the lower pieces fare better, but the upper ones like the a-pillars, the inside sail panels, anything that has been exposed to the sun for 20-30 yrs just dry rots into that crap....

Yeah, you occasionally run into the A pillar trims, etc in useable shape on cars with tinted windows or that were garaged, but it is rare. I have 2 sets of almost every panel for mine because I go junkyarding every week and take them when I find really good ones, but even I can't seem to find a dark blue dash. It took me about 3 years to find good A pillar trims and even longer to find the B pillars.

oh yah for furthur information my cars original color is like a dark brown light brown color i want to repaint the car eventually so i'd probably redo everything to be like what the new color will be witch is like a dark blue or a blackish color...... and i think thats all for now or atleast that i can think of.. so thanks for your help so far and any more opinions or information will help and again Thank you............

So, are you looking for dark blue interior plastics? If so, do you want the darker blue or the lighter purplish blue that was used in some Cutlasses before 1985?

I see that you are in western NY, if so, are you close to Bingampton? If you are, there's a cheap U pull it yard there that may have your parts inexpensively. I recently went to visit friends there and went junkyarding as part of my vacation.

do you know where this you pull it yard is right off hand because i'm not that far away from binghamtom so it wouldn't be all that difficult for me to go check it out?????? :?:

spray glue is your friend. if you're looking for the cheap alternative instead of a "professional job".
as far as headliner goes... i dont know. a 20 year old H/L would be very delicate - id be very nimble and patient when taking that off.

as for seats - get them done at an upholstery shop.
it might be a bt more money but atleast its done properly. especially if your seats are electric.

per seat its roughly $200-$1000.
normally buckets run from; $200-$500
bench; $300-$1000
all depending on how classy you want it to look; ie: embossing?
as well as the types of fabric used.

I forget exactly where it is, but it was right off the interstate, like in the first 2 or 3 exits from the Pennsylvania border. You had to hang a turn under a bridge and go up a small hill and it was on the hill-less than a mile from the interstate. The hill is so steep that they run a shuttle service in an old van to get you up the hill. At the bottom of the hill was the Susquehanna river. Sorry I don't have any more details, but it was 5 months ago and I was on vacation.
