interesting, I never heard of the FE3 on a G body...

Yes, it's the FE2 that's on the G-bodys not FE3.

I have an 85 Olds service manual, and it has the FE2 listed as a suspension option. There is no listing for FE3 in my manual. Maybe other years are different, but you have an 85 and my manual is for 85's so I don't know what to think.

How do you know you have FE3 and not FE2? Is FE3 whats listed on the sticker on your deck lid?
 
the list doesn't identify which code for any particular year but since I found it on the internet so it has to be correct... :mrgreen:

imma go check the manual real quick. ik the badge on the car say fe3 tho
