I have a 68 350 sbc. i just removed my radiator because its a little old. Ive seen radiators without lines for my trans and the other??? it just had a inlet and outlet. If i purchase an aluminum radiator how many cores should i get and how does a seperate trans cooler work.do they have 2 inlets for the 2 lines that were on my stock radiator.

I got a 2 core aluminum radiator with plastic tanks for my 455 and it works excellent! I had an old brass 3 core before and i didn't think that the new one would cool better than my old one but it does! And it's a lot lighter too! For the transmission cooler i would definitely get one, there is an inlet and an outlet for your 2 transmission lines and you can mount it in front of your radiator. It will take away the extra heat created by your transmission from your radiator and it will also make your transmission run cooler because it's a bigger core than the one that is in your stock radiator. It's a real good investment it will extend the life of your transmission also.

Spectra and Modine are good. Go to rockauto.com

Also, the 3rd gen F body aluminum/plastic radiator is a direct bolt in replacement for a G body. You can sometimes find them cheap in junkyards too.
