FAHK! We got crushed last night. I was out in the garage when it came down. I had about 2" rolling through the garage.

About a half hour east, Ellicott City got flooded to the 2nd floor of most buildings.

Yeah, I saw that on the news. The force of that water looked so surreal...
I hope the flooding didn't do too much damage in your garage.

I saw that on the national news. Hope your garage/basement is okay.

I have a grade issue out back that I need to fix. The monsoons we've been having aren't typical for the area; they've been hot and heavy for a few months now.
The basement is fine; the garage will dry out. It cooled off today, so running the A.C. in the garage isn't helping- go figure. I got the driveway regraded. I just need these freakin torrential downpours to stop.

I guess being on a hilly terrain doesn't help matters either.

The aftermath of what happened in Ellicott City is unreal. I'm surprised there wasn't more casualties. That poor national guardsman. That stupid woman wanted him to help her find her missing cat. Meanwhile this poor soul gave up his life. I hope it haunts her for the rest of her life.

Well, she's been denying the cat story on the local news. Don't know if I believe her or not, though....
