no need to change your springs, just put these on and youll be fine! Keep in mind....................you cant maxx out the length of the shock or your ride will be stiff because theres no room for the shock to absorb road bumps, it wont take much for the air shocks to raise your rear end, and that will leave plenty for the shock to work.
 
alright awesome thanks for the help, they are cheaper than the kybs so im pretty happy bout that lol ill order them and see how they look installed!

i have air shocks on my 86 cutlass. it has oem springs all the way around. and my car sits level. i wanted the rear to sit up but it didnt help me at all. in my pic thats my shocks air up all the way. i guess here in my pic you cant tell cuz i am up in the front on my garage floor.
 
well it gave me the clearance i wanted for my side pipes which i got! but it did raise the *ss alot any higher bigger tires would be needed so it doesnt look goofy and i just got a sweet deal on my bfgs. im real happy with the shocks tho! mine are sitting about 128psi and its perfect.
