bill said:Try to fill the float bowl with gas...You can use a hose and a mustard bottle and when its full it will spit out the sides of the hose .... hook up the gas line and suck gas from the tank to the fuel pump with a vacuum, or your mouth. pump the pedal, crank it...and it may shut down again after the float runs dry, but the line should pull gas from the tank..so if you try starting it again...it should.

That's what I was also thinking.JBreu said:It's possible that by running your tank empty that all the sludge/crap/rust in the bottom of the tank made it to your fuel filter and plugged it...Change the filter, add some gas and starting fluid and you should be all set🙂
