If it’s an original style engine,it’s got a 383 up to a 426 Wedge in it for that year.
I'm glad you mention the 383. I don't know dink about the Chrysler/Plymouth realm but have a 383 that was gifted to me many years ago and recall it being referred to as a " 383 magnum"... is that a thing?
 
My Uncle had a 1967 Chrysler VIP, 383, auto, black on black. What a beast. He would pass everything going through the mountains on the way to Yough Lake. Then one day a primered Tri-5 Chevy passed him like he was standing still. It went by too fast to see the exact year.
