Re-Drill Axle Flanges

Just wondering if anyone has ever done this. I want to drill my 8.8 Ford axles for my 4.75 bolt pattern. I saved an old brake drum so I could use it as a template for laying it out, but I was hoping to hear what others have done. I don't have access to a drill press or any other fancy tools. Thanks in advance!

you can also leave the rear end alone and use these on the front to make all the wheels 5 x 5

I want to keep my 5x4.75 because that's what all my wheels are that I have.
