This is why I equip all my vehicles with "special" devices and setups.

Funny story to lighten the mood a bit....

I used to work for a guy that told me about a recurring stereo theft problem he had. After awhile he said he super-glued some razor blades to the bottom of his in-dash deck. He said he came out one day, saw his deck ripped half way out of the dash with a trail of blood leading out of the car  I got the idea to superglue them to my 6x9's later on.

I can't stand a thieving b*st*rd though. My '85 442 was stolen and my '79 Malibu & '81 'Bu wagon were broken into. I WISH someone would break in the house. Ignore the dog and you'll pay with your life.

Sorry to hear that man. He's really lucky to get the car back at all. Are you going to be able to get the rims back? DId you have the VIN etched into the rims or anything like that?

I had a car stolen in Milwaukee. I posted about it in the stolen section. Needless to say, I never saw that car again!

well at least you found it, shame to hear how many g bodies get stolen. I remember hearing stories about how g body cutlasses in general were the number 1 most stolen car in america a while back.

I wouldnt have to look to far if someone stole my cutlass, i have the only one in town, along with the two towns next to mine.

They stole my co workers early 70's Cutlass that he just had put rims on about 2 years ago, he later ran across it with a fresh paint job and new wheels he confronted the guy and called the cops but held the thief there till they came. After a vin verification they gave him back his car, damn thief never even bothered to change vins!!
