I'd like to ditch the air shocks in my 442 for regular shocks. I've seen parts stores list both regular shocks, air shocks, and coilover style "helper" shocks. Does the 442s rear springs require the additional spring rate from an airshock or coilover?

Now how about if I get eibachs for the car? Could I run regular shocks then since the Eibach springs are designed for all gbodys?

The factory air shocks were simply for extra load carrying. You can swap to regular shocks and don't need to change springs.

Remove them and replace them......they are nbot needed..If you carry heavy loads you might wanna grab variable rate springs 8)

Stick air bags in the rear springs and use regular shocks

Alright thanks guys. I'm gonna get eibachs for the car and replace all the shocks with standard KYB's

I have KYB's on my car. They were a huge improvement, but the original shocks were worn out.
