Rear choke pull-off on quadrajet

I was unsure for a while, but the kind of rear choke pull-off that is sometimes seen on quadrajets is an adjustable one (see below) . It looks like it has two vacuum ports, but there's only one - on the side. The larger tube has a screw at its bottom and is the thing used to adjust the pull-off.

Not obvious when the carb is installed, I took a mirror to notice the screw in the rear tube.

Just need to put a rubber cap on the rear tube and that is all.

You could even take it off and put it in a box, and plug the vacuum line that normally would go to it. Unless you live in northern Canada or drive it in sub-zero temps a lot, it's really not even needed. Your carb wouldn't even miss it.,
I am enjoying my moment... I just went from "there's a missing vaccuum line" to "why would it have two vacuum ports" to "it's fine" after years of running accross these pull-offs and each time thinking "I should look this up" 🤣

Chevy Qjets on LG4s and L69s don't have rear pull offs stock.
