Any suggestions on how to remove them? I pulled out the rear half of the interior to find that they do not come threw the body 😳
I found someone to repair the frame rails, but to save time and money, he wants me to remove the bolts.
Any and all help appreciated. TIA. 🙂

These bolts will most likely break off. I managed to only get 2 barely without breaking out of 10 all the others snapped or the block they go threaded to just kept turning that's attached to the body.

You can try soaking them with some pb blaster or wd-40 If that doesn't work maybe heating them with a propane torch.

If not worst case you'll probably have to have the body guy weld in new metal to mount the rails.

This guy has the usual rusted replacement parts for g-body rails

Good Luck

Joe

Well, the first one just spins, the second one came out pretty nice. The last, they both snapped right off :| O well, we'll see what he says next week when I take it overe there.
