rear wheelhouse

You may have to resort to either cutting one out of a donor car, or remove the necessary interior panels and cutout and fabricate a patch panel. You do mean the rear, don't you?
How bad is it? Could you post a pic of the area?

Yikes!! That is pretty crusty. I'm assuming it's the section over the rear frame rail into the wheelhouse.
I'm thinking if you can't find a donor panel, you will have to cut out sections and do some creative fabricating.
You'll have to remove the interior cargo panel to better access that area.
The metal appears to be sandwiched together in that area. You'll most likely have to assemble it in stages.. and also sandblast to clean up the loose rust and scale, and to better facilitate welding..

Rust sucks.. :x

That's a good question. I'm thinking the shape of the wagon wheelhouse would be different than a coupe or sedan. I'm not sure. You could take a picture of your wheelhouse, take some measurements and go comb the boneyards to see if there are similarities between them. Even if there's a portion of a sedan/ coupe wheelhouse that's similar in shape, perhaps it could be cut and grafted into your car. Or the other scenario is that it will have to be fabricated with fresh new metal.

I just realized that you have other G-body cars. Why not compare them with your wagon?
