Do you have to change the rear filler panel between the trunk and window?

Will that work on a Cutlass?

Turna if you look at first page post# 8....pagrunt listed that the Monte/Regal and Cutlass panels interchange....

***For the '81 Monte Carlo (A37) "Panel, Compartment Front" p/n 20171486 interchanges with Cutlass (A47/G47) '81-'88, Regal (A47) '81. ****

Not with the five piece chrome set but you have to figure out how to attach it. I'm going to order clips off eBay and screws that simulate the factory rivets. There's a post on the forum where somebody else showed the layout. You have to grind off the vinyl trim mount rivets and fill some holes around the window

I just want to ditch the vinyl top on mine.

I guess it would be easier to use the 5 piece rear window trim

Turna, I used clips and screw in studs just like those to delete the vinyl top on my Regal. They worked great, I didn't even have to pull the rear glass. I have the 3 piece rear window trim. You can reuse the trunk filler panel, I did. I just cut the studs off and welded up any holes that were drilled.
