Here is one of my sons in the fitness center he and his gf owns. Here he is doing 235 lbs squats 4 times x 8 reps. My problem is along his strength I taught him how to box in my younger days. I am nice to him at all times....haha

For his next trick, he can bench press a T-56 up into your next car project, and wiggle it around into the pilot bushing....

Always be nice to your kids- they will be picking out your nursing home!

There is a story behind my son. In his youth he was diagnose with junior arthritis. He was on many pills for his pain in grade school and most of his high school and he was prevented from playing sports. Before the disease caught hold of him he was one the quickest runners around. He studied anatomy on his own to try to understand what his body was doing. The disease finally went into remission as he was completing high school. He took what he has learnt to become a fitness instructor who is certified to train and certify personal trainers. As I said he never played sports in high school and he did not go to college but he now plays in the Northern Football Conference for the GTA Allstars who won the division this year and is playing for the championship at the new stadium in Hamilton next month. It's a full contact football league. He learnt the rules, positions and plays for football on xbox. He is a son to be proud of....

this is the fitness center that he and his girlfriend owns.

Steve,
Sounds like you're very proud of his achievements, and being able to overcome his arthritic condition. Besides, he probably can kick your *ss...

I played alot of sports, boxed and worked out most of my life. I trained with my son a few times and the way he does his exercises he really targets the muscles he is working on and I couldn't keep up to him. So I would get in the leg press and do a set with 700 lbs and he would quit smiling...🙂

My other son is no cream puff either, in high school he was told he had a reading and writing problem and they put him in special ed. I go him some help learning with the phonic system instead of the whole word system the schools used. He worked hard and got back into regular classes and now he's married with 2 kids and is a successful at his job with Tandis. He has a heavy bag in his garage and he works out on it regularly. My other son is a daughter and there is no cure for that. She's living in Australia and is making a good life with her boyfriend and her job. She also plays on a ruby team over there but she tells me some of the things we did to opposing players in high school when I played rugby isn't legal...haha ...It's nice to have kids who worked hard to become self reliant, makes my life easier.

Thanks, they lived with their mom until they turned teenagers so credit has to go to my ex but I can say she had a total different method of bringing them up. My kids were shocked when I didn't take the principal or teachers at their word. It was real fun and frustrating at times when they were living with me.

The championship game is coming up, my son plays on the GTA Allstars. They are playing in the new stadium in Hamilton, Ontario that is the home field for the Hamilton Tigercats.. If anyone is close to that venue it's a great game and the guys pay to play....
